The Maiden Skirt is draping instructions for an easy historic pleated skirt than can be worn from 1500 to 1850. The skirt features a large front box pleat with 12 knife pleats on each side extending from the side front to center back. The skirt has a center back opening with a traditional waistband and hook and eye and snap closure. The pleats are sew onto a grosgrain ribbon for ease of sewing and strength and then covered by the waistband.
